Parkinson’s diseasePrevention

There have not been any studies on using vitamin D to reduce the risk of Parkinson’s disease (PD).

It could be the case that the beneficial effects of vitamin D in reducing the risk of PD occur over many years, making it difficult to determine the amount of vitamin D required.

However, based on results for other diseases, it appears that keeping serum 25(OH)D levels above 40 ng/mL would be beneficial.
